Pics from Tech & Mech Fashion Show

Tech & Mech fashion show

Just got back from a sweet "tech and mech" fashion show in Second Life.  Organized by Adri Saarinen and sponsored by Emerald Gardens Fashion Center, the runway show featured cyberpunk, steampunk, and futuristic tech created by B. Cyberpunk, Quixotic Trance, C-Tech, Szentasha Fashions, Dead Punk, YadNi Monde, and Goblin Industries.  Click here to see my pictures.

Because of the complex textures, animations and prims all in one space, the show was maddeningly laggy.  At least one model had to be brought out twice because the first time her avatar features were so slow to rez in.

Beyond the minor technical difficulties, it was a fabulous event.  Even I got in the action with my giant mecha, which always makes a big impression.

Postscript: Hamlet Au has posted his pics on NWN.
