Prokofy Neva

There's some significant limitations to the SL 411. It is not meant to display land for sale or rent, and that's a huge hobble. You can "hack it" by making a little box/prim with a title that is meant to stand in for land, which I've done, but it's not really intended for the system and not very useful because you have to keep taking it up and down all the time if the land is sold or rented, unlike items in a store on "copy" which can remain in place with the 411 box in place.

The HUD has improved with re-design over time, but HUDS still tend to get in the way of your view as an avatar and are not a solution for searching in SL -- the search in the client has to get better.

Since you're flogging this blog again, Rik, I'm going to counter by saying that Google has had profound influence on people's education and thinking in very troublesome ways, not the least of which is the fetching up of Wikipedia entries, often dubious and biased, as the first "hit" in the search.
