All your Starbase are belong to us

Master SL builder Hiro Pendragon sends out word about a cool simultaneous "multi-verse" release of Starbase C3.  It's a lot to grok, so pay attention:

1. There's a ten year old virtual world called "Starbase C3" which exists as kind of a collective fantasy of thousands of fans who perpetuate the world via 3D models, fanfic, and other documentation.  It does not exist on any one software or internet platform.
2. Hiro Pendragon is helping the Starbase C3 to invade Second Life by introducing three star ships for sale in-world at 1,000 L$ each (about US$3). (Here's the direct teleport.)
3. The same three star-ships are also being sold as real 3D models in various sizes based on the same CAD model as the SL versions.  (The zooming and zap sounds are purely your own though.)

yeah.. lots to grok over 10 years of web3d sci fi....:)

regular models for other 3d apps are also for sale.. in fact today an old "first timer" to 3d sci fi rendering on the web circa 1996, just bought a full set -again. must have lost em i guess..lol
work i all basic 3d apps and can also export to x3d and and other avatar 3d web worlds...
