hi there

The Friend, the Quaker magazine in the UK, would be really interested to hear how this goes in February (our skillset may not extend to joining you ourselves but we'll have a go!)

There have been some experiments in online worship, the main one being http://worship.quaker.org/ and only yesterday I had a conversation with some Quakers about this. We wondered whether, if you are on your own even if with a computer, you can actually be said to be 'Meeting'. My feeling was that if God is anywhere, it shouldn't really matter where the worshippers are and hopefully the same feeling of meeting online in other contexts could translate well to worship, giving an option to many people who can't get to regular Meeting for Worship, or who don't get on with their local Meeting.

Enough from me :)

Clare, The Friend

Thanks, Clare. I'll check out your online meeting! Do come to the second life meeting if you can, or refer others.
