Short video of Obama appearance in SL today

An avatar of Barack Obama appeared in Second Life today (March 31) as part of his national webcast of a "living room" conversation with supporters.  Nice looking avatar, and interesting to experience the stream with a bunch of other Americans and others from around the world. (Click here for more pics.)

I shot a short machinima video to show off Obama's avatar appearing on Soho island as part of his national webcast "living room" chat. There was a good bit of audio lag, and it was kind of strange just watching his avatar sitting there while his voice piped through the speaker.  Still, a very interesting and possibly historic event.  Glad I was able to be there.

Poor Barack Obama, whomever designed his av did not do a great job. Here is an av of Obama that can be obtained and worn by everybody, and at least it looks like him:
