Filipino-themed Christmas parties December 18-19 in Second Life!

Isadora Fiddlesticks sent me the news that there will be filipino-style Christmas parties happening tomorrow and the day after at Momill (teleport link).   Tomorrow the "pasko" party gets started at 8PM PST, and then on December 19 there's another shindig at 6AM PST, to try and accommodate people in different time zones.  I'm there now and there's already a fabulous group partying and chatting.  The setting is a beautiful tropical locale in a bamboo hut complete with dance floor, Christmas parols, and Filipino decorations on the walls. 

Of course, you can't have a filipino party without a full spread of food.  The dining table contains a tempting assortment of filipino cuisine, from roast pig (lechon), lumpia shanghai, tropical fruits and even ube cake (my favorite!).  Filipino-brand Red Horse beer bottles are everywhere, although I am more familiar with San Miguel.

You have to join the "filipino" group to get into the sim.  But they aren't checking passports, so anyone can of course show up and celebrate Christmas flip-style!  Before teleporting over, you might want to pick up one of Shai's lovely barong tagalog shirts or filipino-style dresses if you really want to look appropriately dressed (teleport SLURL).
