I just saw this on the War Child website:
War Child and Habbo are teaming up for what promises to be the largest online protest ever. On 21st September, UN International Day of Peace, teens will gather in Habbo hotel to raise awareness about the effects of war. Habbo is a virtual community of millions of young people, who hang out, play games and get involved in these kind of events. Visit Habbo to join them on the 21st.
For those that have never been, Habbo Hotel is a teen virtual world with a huge presence in Europe. War Child works with war-affected children in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. Sounds like an interesting partnership.
I wonder what kind of numbers they'll get at their protest to qualify for the "largest ever?"
