This is in response to Aliza Sherman's excellent blog post on Web2.0 tools that she uses in her daily life. Here is my list of Web2.0 tools I use on nearly a daily basis:
- Typepad.com: That's the engine that drives this blog.
- Twitter: Micro-blogging FTW! I tend to twitter from the Twitterific app on my desktop or from Twinkle on my iPhone.
- Google Docs / Spreadsheets: Essential for collaborative document drafting and sharing at work and for Yehoodi.
- Eventful: For tracking events in the real world and Second Life that I care about.
- Flickr: Photo hosting savants.
- Blip.tv: Storing and disseminating my videos.
- Facebook: My main social network platform.
- Ning: Many of my work social networks are built on top of this, including RezEd.org and JusticeCenter.net.
- LinkedIn: For connecting with work colleagues from a variety of fields, looking for answers to questions.
- ClockingIT: For online project management.
- Wikispaces: For collaborative text drafting and documentation.
- Basecamp: Another, kind of sucky, project management tool I use.
- Google Reader: For keeping up on blogs and news from around the world.
- Outside.in: For tracking blog and news activity in my neighborhood.
Ok, that list is rather longer than I thought...
