Tonight I got to see a sneak preview of "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" at the BAM Rose Theater in Brooklyn with a couple hundred other excited fans. I won't get all spoiler-y, but suffice to say it is worthy of the tagline: "An Epic of Epic Epicness."
Why should you see this film?
- Awesome classic gaming references
- Over-the-top fight scenes
- Hilarious dialogue
- A fantastic ensemble cast, particularly Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona, Kieran Culkin as Wallace, Alison Pill as Kim, and Ellen Wong as Knives.
- And most of all, Michael Cera looking hapless, and then kicking butt
Can't wait to see it again!
